mascara film club 03 300

Six shorts that delve into performative testimony and reclamation. This month’s Mascara Film Club is feeling tender, as acts of resistance are levelled on intimate terms and affective registers. Featuring works by Jordan Baseman, Ufuoma Essi, Charlotte Hurst, Joseph Noonan-Ganley, Harold Offeh and Lou Lou Sainsbury.

Money raised from the bar will help fundraise for the project, 'That and a Signal,' taking place across two London secondary schools this summer.

Mascara Film Club takes place in a bar in North-East London. We screen artists’ moving image in more convivial contexts, batting our lashes to the rhythm of the unexpected, the seductive, the challenging, the political, the overlooked and the underseen.
