All the way from Kalamazoo, Michigan, Megan Dooley plays steeped in rich American roots music that bursts with a modern attitude and soulful inflection.Specializing in torch, swing, blues, folk, and American roots music, her rich, gritty, and powerful vocals weave between punchy rhythm guitar, eloquent banjolele, and a “whistle as pure as birdsong, expressed with great musical aplomb.”
Jude Cowan Montague is an artist. writer and composer with a multi-media practice that crosses disciplines. She is active in new printmaking, installation, poetry, prose fiction, film history, vocal work and performance.Jude creates unique, experimental pop.
She will be reading extracts from her new novel Young Hitch In Forbiden Flames and providing her own sound track using violin and looper effects.
Eleanor Bennet has been an actress for many years and has performed and then toured 2 one woman shows. Having moved to stand up comedy she is now breaking onto the professional comedy circuit and will be appearing soon at the Hampstead Comedy Club. When she is not tellling the funny and often outrageous (perhaps slightly embellished) truth to audiences she can be found on the top decks of buses telling tall tales to tourists.
